I was like Oh. My. Gosh.

Usher is one of my favorite artists, ever. Many don't find him attractive, but that voice and those moves... O.M.G.  So when we found he was performing in Macau (just a quick one hour ferry ride away) and tickets were still available even on the day of the concert, we jumped on the opportunity.

His set list was AMAZING. Old school cuts left and right -- and of course, one of my absolute favorite songs, Love In This Club:

Definitely a major highlight of the trip! What a pleasant surprise. An LOL moment for sure was the lack of audience participation when it came to some of his older stuff (does Lovers & Friends count as old?). But they all pulled through for his current hits like Hey Daddy and O.M.G.

The next few days were spent rewatching Usher videos (and failing miserably to dance like him), window shopping (I swear on every other block there was a collection of stores such as Louis Vuitton / Gucci / Prada / [insert other stores I can't afford to shop at]) and stuffing our faces (oh how we stuffed our faces).

Some of the staple food items we ate: dim sum, wontons, noodles, beef brisket, shrimps, fish balls, sushi, hot pot, toast with condensed milk, and lots of ice cold lemon tea, milk tea, and cream soda.

Some of the not so staple food items we ate: durian cream puffs, frog legs, and pig brains.

*licks lips.

xoxo,
gsp
